Here are 4 simple steps to viewing your MockApp mockup on your iPhone:
1) Create your mockup with the template named “Template_if_you_will_demo_on_iPhone”.
2) Export your mockup to PDF format and upload it using our upload form. The upload form is visible at the top right of this website for logged-in members only. Membership is free…. for now.
3) Buy the excellent $0.99 GoodReader app from the App Store. Update: as of 12/19/09 I am told that there is a free version of GoodReader that limits you to 5 files (which might be plenty for this use). Thanks to Florian for the tip!
4) In GoodReader, go to Web Downloads > Enter URL and enter http://mockapp.com/u/your-file-name.pdf
That’s it! You’ll be able to view your MockApp mockup in full screen just like a real app and even navigate it using the hyperlinks you defined.
Why use GoodReader as opposed to the free iPhone’s native PDF viewer? Contrarily to GoodReader, the native reader won’t show the PDF in full-screen and doesn’t keep the hyperlinks.
