So what’s this MockApp thing anyway?
Have you ever dreamed-up an brilliant iPhone App? “Dude! my iPhone App would be awesome: It would show this and then you’d press a button and it would do that…”. Well, haven’t we all. The problem is: how many of your app ideas have hit in the app store? You get my point.
Anyway, it’s not your fault: The problem with iPhone app ideas is: unless you’re a programmer familiar with Apple’s development tools, there’s no easy way to mock-up your idea so you can show it around and gather the support you need to get it built. Finger puppets only go so far with investors these days… So this is where MockApp comes in:
No programmers or designers needed. And there’s nothing like a great looking mock-up to rally people around your app idea.
What can I use MockApp for?

What’s the story behind MockApp?
My name name is Dotan Saguy (the other guy is my giant Legoland replica).
I’m a serial entrepreneur and a Product / UX (User Experience) guy at heart. I’ve been doing Keynote and Powerpoint mock-ups of web apps and desktop apps for over 15 years. But this is the first time I “go public” and share my secret sauce.
Why? This type of rapid prototyping tool has helped so many of my co-workers, consulting clients and my own startups over the years that I felt compelled to share it with the public at large.
My hope is that many will embrace this tool to get the recognition their app ideas deserve. If MockApp helps you in any way tips are highly appreciated, but regardless, please DO share your success stories.
